Alfreton Town Council are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty, The Queen.

Town Mayor, Councillor John Walker said “I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Royal Family. We hope we can speak on behalf of Alfreton residents in showing our respect at this time to our nations’ Royal Family.”

A Book of Condolence is now available for the local community to sign to pay their respects in the foyer, Alfreton House, High Street, Alfreton, DE55 7HH

Monday – Friday 9:30am – 2:30pm, Saturday 10:00am – 3:00pm

Please note that floral tributes may be laid in front of the large tree on the lawn of Alfreton House.

As per national guidance we respectfully request that any flowers should be unwrapped and not left in cellophane.
